Music, theatre, circus, a garbage truck, and storytime in four-poster beds. The Kef\u00edr Festival<\/strong><\/a> returns with a healthy dose of imagination, baby punk, and experiences for kids and adults alike. This family festival, which breaks down barriers between genres and generations, will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, right here at Park 360 in Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9. The legendary director of the universe, Ka\u0161p\u00e1rek, will personally greet everyone and guide them through the venue!<\/p>\n

Who for:<\/strong> children (up to 4 years free!), parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, everyone who is not afraid to have a good time together
\nAccommodation:<\/strong> own tent, bell tent rental, comfortable pop-up hotel, or car camp with hookups for RVs and vans<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Kef\u00edr music lineup will feature the best of the Czech alternative and indie scene. Visitors can look forward to performances by Wohnout<\/strong>, Sto zv\u00ed\u0159at<\/strong>, Ka\u0161p\u00e1rek v rohl\u00edku<\/strong>, Vltava<\/strong>, Skota\u010dn\u00ed kulomet<\/strong>, and \u0160ufunky Gang<\/strong>. International acts include British singer-songwriter Cam Cole<\/strong> and the London-based neo-soul group Lazy Habits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A new feature of this year\u2019s event will be Pepa Libick\u00fd\u2019s Kef\u00edr DIY Workshop<\/strong>. The popular TV handyman will have an entire hangar at his disposal, where he\u2019ll be sawing, drilling, sanding, gluing, and painting. Pepa will be heading to Kef\u00edr with his instructors for the first time outside of his Dob\u0159\u00ed\u0161 Academy with the project \u201cBack to the Craft.\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival will be open to campers starting Friday, August 28, when the Minor Theater will present its musical theater production The Gingerbread House<\/em> that evening. It\u2019s the perfect start for families with children and anyone who wants to enjoy the festival from the very first moment.<\/p>\n

But the music is just the beginning. Kef\u00edr is famous for its unique attractions, which have become just as popular a part of the program as the bands themselves. You can look forward to:
\n– a ride on the footboard of a garbage truck
\n– a swing on a crane
\n– jumping into foam pits from the stairs leading to the airplane
\n– a poop workshop
\n– listening to fairy tales read aloud on four-poster beds
\n– the largest straw jumping area \u2013 it will be open in test mode even before Kef\u00edr, starting August 17<\/p>\n
